A Question of Fit The relationship between Investor and Advisor is a valuable – and personal – one. Like all relationships, they are built upon trust. The idea of ‘fit’ is an important one for us. What we do – and the manner in which we do it – ought to be a good fit for both of us. This is the reason that we spend as much time at the beginning of our time together testing the waters to identify if it makes sense to move forward. It is far better to spend more time at the outset of a working relationship to ensure a good match, than to move forward and have to disengage afterward. What we do is not for everybody. We are a specialized firm and limit the size of our Client Community to ensure that we can properly serve our clients. Over the years, we have identified the qualities of those who find the relationship a good fit. We call this our Ideal Client Profile. This profile helps individuals determine whether they would benefit from our services. Those who benefit most from our services are individuals who: Have important purposes for their life, knowing that money is not the most important thing. Desire and are comfortable with simplicity in their financial life. Are financial delegators who enjoy the simplicity, freedom and peace of mind that comes from working with a single Trusted Advisor. Are committed to implementing their financial plan – so that they can live their life with purpose. Appreciate and respect the advice of an expert – and follow it. Are comfortable paying a one-time fee of $1,500 to create a thorough, step-by-step financial plan addressing all aspects of their financial life. Ongoing, an annual Advisory Fee based on the combined amount of assets under our management applies.
